    I really don't know if you are serious with the "feature" part. Either way it's blinding, you don't want that in a game. Especially not when it's competitive. And as Kyto mentioned: So, the devs could just add "visual clarity" on the workshop for instance, as an option in the game and it would be good. Given the game tells you about this "competitive edge" before you get to start a competitive match. I Would think most competitive players are going to go through all the options in the menu anyways but just to be sure the game can give you a message about it. If you are not listening to a message like that you can't really complain about your oponent having a cleaner looking game than you, am I right? It's only a problem if it's not the same for both players, so if the non cheaty stuff is added to the game it's all good. We just have to agree on every single aspect of customization, what is cheating and what is just preference. How are we going to do that? I'd say it's gonna require alot of polls and of course Turbopixel has the final word but I hope we can keep customization and "competitive integrity" at the same time.

No default widgets in sight. r_lm_clear and several effect changes. Several custom sounds. Do you wish to see sv_pure implemented into the competitive ruleset?: No Why?: I don't want timers in competitive. I voted no because there will be a delay where I will not have the widgets I want to play with if they are ever added to the base game at all. r_lm_clear is amazing and I don't know why anyone would ever want to remove it. The game is not clean enough as it is. As Jaguar mentioned close up plasma fights will blind you and I wouldn't say that's intended. Finally, not being able to switch my character sound whenever I feel like it would really suck.
  3. Ammo balance in Clan Arena

    I guess we could try 8 bolts. 25 rockets is enough unless you are circling the map non stop 5 times before starting to fight people. 30 rockets is probably also fine but we definitely don't need to go higher than that. I feel like nades are being spammed a bit too much atm, 10 nades seems good. 150 ion is going to be enough with the new ruleset, and I don't think too much, as I find myself running out all the time in the current ruleset. With 160 dps plasma why would you ever need more than 100 cells?

    I think the serverbrowser should be kept along with custom hosted servers. As @Grybzt mentioned it's just not as personal without it. Everything else looks good to me

It is a bit harder to manage ammo but it is easier to remember how much ammo i will get from boxes and weapon pickups. bolt/rocketlauncher/ion are all buffed just a little especially the rocket buff makes the game even more exciting. Rockets boost yourself further. Plasma is now super spooky in situations it should. All good changes in my eyes. Some things I disagree on: I think burstgun should have more ammo at spawn 12? 15? 20? the more ammo the more likely you can use it as a shotgun for finishing off people throuhgout the game. I still think grenades shouldn't do 100 damage on directs (more like 80 to be specific, splash 80 as well). I still think shotgun should have 10 maxammo and 5 pickup/box.

    This program: https://github.com/Codeusa/Borderless-Gaming/releases allows you to play in windowed fullscreen. This way you won't have problems with alt-tabbing and you can set it to automatically fullscreen reflex. It's amazing.

  13. Why do you play Reflex?

    I thought there was no way I was going to improve when I started. I did not want to change my sens but I could not move my arm fast enough to move around the map. So I changed my sens to a higher one and I improved Slowly, I was not good because I changed sens but being able to move around the map well really helped me. I'm still shit at timing somehow.

    Can you please elaborate? Are you using a hello kitty crosshair with that? Do you get some sort of borderless with that?

    I would like more customization on the looks of your enemy, colors, melee cosmetics and robot parts. That way I can always fight a hostile full green robot with the default melee. That would fix the problem of people using a widget to change the color of their robot all the time. If none of the other things matter to anyone else, I think at least adding the option to have a completely green enemy would improve the experience a lot, considering someone can pick the color of your crosshair and make it a bit harder to tell where it is. I don't remember anymore and don't care that much but I know another passionate guy on discord tried telling people about this. There is a problem with spectating teammodes. For example I have Enemies green and teammates magenta. if i spectate team ALPHA=RED and ZETA=BLUE and spectate "player1" on APLHA the enemies will be green. The killfeed will show that "player1" fragged "player2", and the score will show that ALPHA is in the lead 1-0 over ZETA. Now if I switch to "player2" on ZETA, it will be the opposite again and that's good. If I decide to go freecam everything goes nuts as "player1" who is on ALPHA... his robot is red while his enemy is blue but the widgets keep the same magenta and green colors! If I set the color of my robot to be yellow, my robot will still be the teammate color I chose, if I have weaponmodels on or after the game is over. Burstgun has sparks you can not hide, and grenades have trails you can not hide In the picture I posted in this comment there is a crosshair thatis not centered, there might be a way to fix that, but I don't know about it. Please tell me how if you know and btw I am using PerWeaponSettins and I am not disabling it.

    If you download "tfc's lua widgets" it's one of the crosshair widgets. I don't remember which one. Keep in mind that It will not work unless you are in a game. If you only want that widget out of the pack you can delete the others in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\reflexfps\base\addons

  23. burstgun_lowammo is 10 not 5 Shotgun has low ammo on pickup (10) which is a bit strange. I think it should be 5 I feel like 10 grenades on pickup are a bit too many. The best (imo ofc) suggestion I have is this: lowammo 3 maxammo 12 weaponpickupammo 6 ammopickupammo 3 Pocketinfinity (clean) is not the kind of map that adds a nice looking thing into the map and then make it 1 unit lower than the rest of the floor to screw with your mind. (talking about the grid below the low yellow armor on the regular pockt infinity and also the slight height difference under red armor) also why has nobody suggested 421 (clean) yet? I can see that it is a tad hard to see depth but at least you have good fps. Idk about the rest of the maps beacause I just want to play the maps that are in the tournaments, which is a bit hard since the map pool is different every time :/
