This tournament is strictly for bringing the community together and to help one another to have fun and learn duel. If you have questions ask away in the discord or on this post. Please remember to play with good sportsmanship, good luck and have fun. Registration: Signup here on challonge! You must be in The Dojo Discord found here. This is done to help locate and match the players. Discord / Challonge / in-game name must be the same or similar. Competing: You will have to check-in on the Challonge bracket. If you fail to check-in on time, the Challonge website will remove you from the tournament. Check-ins will start a ½ hour before the tournament begins. The tournament is not affected by players signing up and missing the tournament. Feel free to sign-up for any tournaments regardless if you know you can make it or not. Tournament admins will announce when the bracket is final and the tournament has started in the The Dojo discord channel. When this is announced, refresh your Challonge bracket. An admin will contact you and your opponent and will give you an IP address to connect to. BE AUTONIMOUS - After you’ve completed your series, make sure to enter the scores on the Challonge bracket. If there is any disputes contact an admin immediately A connection test is highly recommended before starting a series. Ruleset: Play on the servers provided, or if agreed upon you may choose your own. Players are expected to behave in a reasonable and respectable manner. Players may be disqualified, suspended or possibly banned from future tournaments for not doing so. If you were to ever get disconnected in the middle of a match, you will automatically forfeit the current match. Opposing players may allow to restart the disconnected match if they agree to do so. Disconnections should be immediately reported to a tournament admin. The tournament is double elimination. All players will have the chance to compete in a minimum of two series. All series will be played in a best two out of three format. Grand finals will be a best of five. Map selection will begin with a roll in console, lowest roll wins first ban (Ban, Ban, Pick, Pick). After two stages are chosen the tie breaker will be the final stage left in the pool. If you have any questions or issues, contact a Reflex Dojo Admin in discord or on steam.   7. Back when I was a rookie! Original Post below Hi! I have a YouTube channel and Twitch channel and record quite a lot of gameplay, and make videos of whatever I'm playing intensively at the time... which, currently, is Reflex! I've already recorded got a few videos up on my channel and I recently casted the first Instacup 1v1 tournament (complete noob quality because it was my first live cast, and my first live cast of an arena FPS game. And my first time spectating an arena FPS game, really!). Anyway, I figured I'd make a single thread in this forum, in which to post my future videos. I've just uploaded this one: I hope you like it! Feedback is most welcome, and constructive criticism too. Getting notifications that someone has left a comment on one of my videos makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Stay tuned for more! Suggestions are also welcome. I've started work on a video project for Reflex, so, hopefully, something nice will soon appear on my channel. I've been gathering Reflex gameplay footage, and spectating players better than myself, in order to finally edit some sort of highlight video.   9. Hey! Figured I'd post this level here for some feedback! I've been building quake levels on and off fairly seriously since about 2004, but I've had a decently long hiatus lately, but Reflex looks really fun so I decided to give it a shot here with a map. It's called Traveler 2 and it's a sequel to an old qw level of mine called Traveler. Would love some feedback, and replays of you playing! The graphics aren't quite done yet, and gameplay is still to be fiddled with a bit. It's a 1v1 demi-space map, so watch out for the void.   13. Howdy folks. Got a bit of a two sided question here. Working on a training/duel map from the older Q1 days and I couldn't see to be able to get a working door. Are there no working doors? Specifically team based doors (one team can go through and the other can not). Not being able to make a proper door (like I wanted) - I opted to using teleporters. But same issue, I could not find a teamclip function that would allow TeamA to go though and not TeamB (TF days). Anyone have any input on how to get either a door or a working teamclip?   14. Multiplex Workshop 1MH, 1RA, 2YA, all weapons From the F-Zero GX Wiki: "A long course designed like one of the many lofty skyscrapers. The track is composed of a loop, a chicane, many straightaways, and a minefield in the second half of the course. Approximate Length: 16500 m Course Order: Ruby #5" Multiplex is a duel map with heavy focus on fluid movement and prediction projectiles. Ramps and jumps are placed in such a way as to tie the lower and upper levels together, making them distinct only in the main atriums. Mid-map is a "cross loop" where players can quickly change from low to high elevation to avoid opponents or to gain a height advantage. All "important" jumps to major items are designed to be of moderate difficulty, but every item can be obtained with no trickjumps through the use of a slower route. Any feedback is much appreciated.

  16. After multiple requests, I have returned to finish updating tehace's thct5 - The Sane Asylum with a more modern, clean look; in the vein of the [Clean] version of thct7 - Catalyst. This project started as an archival project during the switch from ReflexFiles to the Steam workshop in an effort to bring old maps up to snuff with the then-standard of map design. I picked this map not because it had any serious competitive play rates, but because it was always a personal favorite and I didn't want it to be lost in the transition or forgotten to history. I'm not sure whether this can be called a single atrium map or not. It's a weird one. 2x GAs, 1x YA, 1x RA, and 1x MH. There's also 1x 50hp, 5x (?) 25hp, and 5x armor shards and small health.
