  4. Howdy folks. Got a bit of a two sided question here. Working on a training/duel map from the older Q1 days and I couldn't see to be able to get a working door. Are there no working doors? Specifically team based doors (one team can go through and the other can not). Not being able to make a proper door (like I wanted) - I opted to using teleporters. But same issue, I could not find a teamclip function that would allow TeamA to go though and not TeamB (TF days). Anyone have any input on how to get either a door or a working teamclip? Thanks in advance, Z

I've simply taken this map and added ammo, and fixed missing static meshes. I did not create the original map, nor the original copy of the Reflex remake.     Hello, I am sharing a work in progress I've been doing with KOKOS for the past month or so. The map is intended for 2v2 TDM and FFA, but initial tests indicate that it could be played by 6+ players as well. The most recent changes are related to item placement (yet again). The map offers several options or routes to each item of importance and this, in combination with the map layout, which allows you to know where each player is most of the time, allows for flexible approaches to games and items rather than one pre-set strategy, with hopes of preventing snowballing as well as random grabs. Opinions with arguments are welcome, as usual. Decoration-wise, there are few themes I'd like to test on this map before deciding on the most appropriate. This, however, will have to wait for some free time, which I lack at the moment. Considering this is my first attempt at a CPMA-style 2v2 TDM map, I'd like to thank everybody who helped me with testing, ideas, or plain work, starting with KOKOS, who has taught me a lot in the process, but also everyone from 2R2H, LuGiA, Saboo, Toni43, Irish, myT and everyone else.   13. Welcome to the Reflex Garbage Cup! Reflex's very own beginner's tournament. This week we learned that, if we stick together, good things will always follow! IRC = #garbage on QuakeNet Week 1 Week 2 Week 3 Week 4 Week 5 We have finished the Round Robin portion of the tourney! Week 6 Loser's Bracket Lowest Ranked 4 3 will play Bo3, winners from those will play Bo5 Gains title "Treasurer of Trash" Winner's Bracket Top Ranked 4 will play Bo3, winners from those will play Bo5 Gains title "Compost Commander" Week 7 FFA = Final Redemption 3 rounds of FFA! All players receive 1 point per kill. This affects final rank. (Not really, since the bracket is already finished. But it'll be fun, I think!) Overall winner receives title "Lord of the Landfill" Stalast has suggested getting rid of the final, where the winner from the Winner's and Loser's brackets go head to head to claim final victory. While I do think there is value in this system, Stalast's comments have made me realize that, for this particular tourney, it may just be better to run the final segment of the tournament like this: I would like to leave the Final (giving Loser's bracket a chance to reclaim victory) in future Garbage Cups, especially those that have more competitors and thus wider brackets. But as long as no one has any major objections, we will be following the second model. Doing it this way will afford us a little extra time, and spare those of us in the bottom 3 a hefty plate of public embarrassment. Please post any suggestions or comments to this thread. The coming week will host the finals of the Garbage Cup! Thanks to everyone for participating, and stay tuned for more!

    A high intensity duel map with a lot of verticality. Only having one YA to encourage heavy emphasis on punishing the opponent when they go for RA/MH. Seems to play really well when both players are about equal bad at the game. It is big enough to play 2v2 atdm on. 1RA 1YA 1GA + All Weapons ReflexFiles download Updated 22/11-15 MKV - Final version (hopefully) Changelog: MKV Few tweaks here and there. Should be the final version. MKIV The whole side with IC on the map reworked. Added alternative route to top corner there as well. A few fixes for flow as well as some trim on doorways for looks. MKIII YA moved and a bit more life placed. Also big overall tweaks to avoid light bleeding and added a bunch of stuff for looks.

  18. "Jeffery?" "Lasers." *nods* This map (as you can see in the title) is designed for 2v2 or 1v1. It actually started as a cake, but now it's not. Feedback is appreciated. You actually spawn inside the walls behind the targets in the little inlets. There's a teleporter to get out, I got the idea from ultiduo in tf2. I think this could help or hurt a fresh spawn's ability to get their bearings. Thoughts? Download
