  1. Audio bug

    Hey gamers, I'm having a problem with my audio. On my speakers (5.1) it's working fine but when I use my headset (jack plug) I don't have sound from behind. Got all drivers installed and have no problem with my headset on other games.. It's the exact same problem as in the topic's video listed below, it got fixed with a patch for them, didn't work for me though. Hope someone has a solution for my problem! Greets!
  2. [1.0] Audio Bug

    Edit: The patch which was just released has fixed this for me. I've encountered a bug in 1.0 that I have not seen in previous versions. My audio is acting very strange. It's hard to describe, so I've included a video. You'll notice the strange audio clipping when I pick up items, and also during the second half of the video when I listen for the impact of the plasma balls. I'm using a Razer Kraken USB headset, with the latest drivers. In Razer Synapse, I have tried setting Reflex to use 2.0 Stereo and 7.1 surround, but both yield the same result.
  3. Remove certain sounds from the game

    Was wondering whether it is possible to remove a specific sound from the game? In my case, I want to mute the sound when a player lands on a surface. That "iron hitting concrete" sound. I am aware that this is how the original CMPA mod works but that sound is really hurting my head if you could call it so.
  4. I experience some sound cracklings in game. It seems like crackling interferences with game action and sounds that are played during it. Another interesting fact is that crackling happens even with s_volume 0. Basically this sound problem reminds me sound artifacts that happen after setting too low s_mixahead in QuakeLive or Warsow. Here is a short video where crackling is recorded (sorry for the black borders, it was recorded not in fullscreen mode): Crackling is noticeable at: 00:16, (at 00:20 s_volume was set to 0), 00:23, 00:26, 00:27, 00:30, 00:31, 00:32, 00:42, 00:46 And here some information about my PC: OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i5 2320 @ 3.00GHz Sandy Bridge RAM: 8,00ГБ Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co.   5. I was bored as all get out this past weekend so I decided it would be fun to take my modest skillset in audio mixing and resample and remix some sounds for reflex. I'm not done yet as there are other I need to complete as well as to polish up the ones in place, but this has proven to be a fun little spontaneous project. Wadda y'all think?
  6. Sound not appearing

    I have looked for this but haven't found anything explaining or bringing it up. It seems to only concern weapons: sometimes the sound doesn't appear when i shoot. Frequently I have noticed it for RL and bolt but also for all over weapons except for IC and plasma. I makes it very hard to use sounds for queueing weapon switches and what not. Does anyone have any insight or a fix for this?

    Hello, I have a suggestion for an addition to the Reflex workshop... Sounds! I'm thinking there could be support on the workshop for people who would like to upload / download sound mods for Reflex e.g. Announcers / Hit sounds, with ease, rather than replacing the default files, or renaming them to a different name. In addition to this, I read fuglaa's thread over here: And then got the idea that there could be also support for sound mods in the workshop to have specific sounds for each award. Would be epic with announcer voices or sound effects :3 What do you guys think, Players? Devs, is this possible?
  8. So i just bought the game and i noticed that im not getting any sound when i get hit, and no sound when i pick something up. Is this supposed to be?

    hi there, reporting for duty. hereby, i'd officially offer my service for the game. i work as an audio professional in a broadcast/cinema/media studio and own a studio for music/film or game scoring/sound design and so on. reflex is a great project that deserves top notch quality imo and i'm happy to contribute with content or technical assistance concerning anything audio. first things first: there is no intention to steal anyones job like this, really. this is meant to be audio support from the community. however, i can definitely deliver all sound content needed, especially since dark and techy stuff is my most passionate domain. in the following, i'm about to adress and discuss sound issues and throw in some content and technical advice for your consideration. feel free to hit me about audio editing, mixing, mastering, sound design, music, (psycho-)acoustics, etc...   11. Basically that. ^ Funny thing is, the game worked perfectly on my Windows 10 hard drive in the same PC. The game has always been on my Windows 7 drive, even when playing on Windows 10. I have: Verified game cache integrity Reinstalled the game Changed the default resolution in game.cfg Added r_flush_constant_buffers_each_frame 1 to game.cfg Manually updated the AMD gfx card driver My specs: AMD FX-6300 6 Core CPU AMD Radeon HD 7850 GPU 8GB RAM Any help would be much appreciated.   12. Enemy sound bug ?

    I am testing with a friend in a server, the sound the enemy makes when he is high hp or low hp, it's the same sound, I tried installing Q3 sound to see if it's any different the sound has changed but it's the same when he is high or low hp. Why is that ?
  13. sound bugg: build 0.33.6

    When i shoot a rocked and i don't move my mouse the rocked doesn't make any sound, same for the ioncannon. But if i move while shooting the sound comes back. Sometimes while paying i can't hear the rockeds coming from my enemy. The sound of the ioncannon also skippes.The soundscape is bugged. When on the end of the map on the left side is and someone came from the right, i heard the person coming from the left. Its prity disorienting. I only have this problem while playing Reflex. I don't if this is just one bug or severel or that is just me but i tried severel things (like switching headset) and it still didn't work the way its ment to. I'm using steelseries soundcard and the steelseries 9h headset. I'm bad at typing English so sorry the mistakes.
  14. There isn't an exit sound for teleporters! This isn't really a bug now that I think about it.

    From a first person perspective, when you shoot your own weapon and strafe left or right, the sound position does not follow the player's position, it just stays fixed in the position that it was triggered. For example, if you shoot the shotgun and strafe to the left, you will only hear the sound from the right speaker.
