The visuals are really stunning. Love the doom vibes. The gameplay is fast as the map is rather confined, although I think this lends to a fun and unique style of gameplay. Very fun jumping options around the bolt rile atrium area and the central pillar. I only got in a handful of duels tonight but I'll try to provide more feedback as I play more. Thanks for putting in the effort on this!

Had a few duels on this and they were pretty fun. Only things I wanted to change were health placement and bolt placement. It just felt a little broken bhopping along one side of the map for about 3 seconds and picking up over 100 HP. Nobody I played really bothered using bolt much because it's sort of a pain in the ass to get to and feels like more of a trap than MH and YA which I find a little weird. I'm not sure where you could put it but I think it's a bit too far out of the way/too much of a trap right now.

How'd you make the camera transfer positions across map versions? Looks too good to be manually approximated.

Love the porno music

I second this question. I must know how to do this :D

I assume by having the replay editor the same camera-paths for both versions.

well re_save saves the map as well, so to speak, so I can only imagine that they copied out the x y z positions of the keyframes and duplicated them

Damn it's like a Quake map with picmip transformed completely for UE4 :D Good job! What's the tune in that video btw?

Its not played much. But i think new players to reflex could give try this map. The jumps there are rather easy. And its simple layou and decent amount of  armors and healths. You easy learn the map and basics. :)

I like the map! Have not had the opportunity to 1v1 on it yet but I explored it and enjoyed the jumps. I expect to get stomped on it though :P

Also this kinda reminds me of Doom 2016 which is a good thing.

I swear there is something in this map that reminds me of another big title that came out in 2016

From all the 1v1 maps I've played in the past month (when I started trying to duel) this one has been the most accessible. It's easy to learn, the jumps are doable once you learn the basics and it has enough verticality and variety to get used to playing duels.

And it's real purdy too <3

I hate to ask this but... how did you get the themed stuff into the map? I am trying to update my own and I just don't know how...

Looks amazing though.

Place an "effect" and you can then change the effect into a variety of meshes that are available.

You can then scale them, change their rotations, or materials. For instance, the old looking trees Promeus used are actually like Japanese oaks or something. He just made leaves transparent.

You can see these things by opening any map in editor mode.

Is there a good effect tutorial somewhere?

At one point I kind of knew but I was simply throwing numbers in the dark. (like some sort of catalog?)
