  1. First version of a map by doublethink and NiZ, dn_cycle. The concept for the map is a duel map where it is challenging to totally control both major items, whilst still having a smallish footprint. Hoping to give back and forth matches. I took inspiration from cpm29 (the bridge and valley mid) and cpm5 (the mega gallery) It would be great to get some feedback on this from people, I really liked it as we were making it. However I bet it could be even better with community suggestions. Thanks! NOTE: Lightmaps were compiled on Reflex version alpha 0.28.2.   5. So here is the result of around 40 hours of messing with the map editor (it's really fun even though very user unfriendly atm) my very first Reflex map "A Dark Place". The design is taken from an old project of mine for another Arena FPS that never got out of blockout-stage, so this is pretty much a Reflex original! The map is medium-sized and intended for duel, though it could be playable in small FFA or maybe even 2vs2 TDM but there is no quad and I am not planning on including it. The main areas of action are the two big rooms in the map where Red Armor and Mega Health respectively are located. Another highly contested area is the Yellow Armor room where players will find not only the YA but one of two Rocket Launchers as well as two 25 HP bubbles. the area on the opposite side from the YA Room is intended as a safe zone for a player who is out of control, it contains a Green Armor, 5 Shards (making 75 armor in total) and the Plasma Rifle as well as a Shot Gun and 75HP in form of one 50HP and one 25 HP bubble. There are several trick-jumps implemented into the map, especially the MH can be approached and stolen from many different directions (keep an eye out for steal attempts if you are the one in control!). Be wary of traps like the RA spawn location, the Rail Gun chamber and the pool around the RL in the YA Room they can cost you your life!     [WIP] Salvage Duel/FFA

    Hey there, this map is supposed to be a duel or small-scale FFA (I'd suggest 3-4, not more than 6) map. It's the first map I have made in any game (Sen-Commander and General Tip helped me out, as well), and I am not a very good (or even ambitious) quake-player. I have dabbled in QL and know how to strafe (kinda), but that's about it- please let me know anything you can see wrong with it (or at least some of it ), or that you don't like, I will read every bit of feedback posted and apply it if and where it works. On to the map-specifics, the main room is obviously inspired by Furious Heights, but personally I never really liked the rest of the map all that much. On Salvage there is 1 YA, 1 GA and 1 RA along with 1 MH and 1 railgun. If you get the spawn in the main room, you have immediate access to MH, YA, RL, rifle, shotgun. If you spawn in the loading dock area, you have immediate access to Railgun, RA, RL, GL. If you spawn in the hallway, you have immediate access to the Ion Cannon and a very quick route to whichever room your opponent didn't spawn in (it's a small enough map, you should be able to hear whether they spawned in the loading dock or not). If you spawn in the tunnel, you have immediate access to the Plasma Rifle, 30 armor and the highground- needless to say, the routes to either room are very short also. I hope that this will make for balanced spawns, I will not add more until I see how this works in duels (haven't had the opportunity, friends are lagging irl). I tried to adhere to the spirit of Reflex, being accessible to new players while allowing for good players to be rewarded for the time they put into the game. As such, you will find a lot of jumppads and slow paths, but also alternative (and faster) ways to climb the same obstacle. Since I am not a good player, I could only do so much, I hope it shows I tried.   8. This is a 1-atrium duel/FFA map that I made after learning a lot from my last map. It incorporates a lot of CPMA-movement into its play (specifically double jumping), and really tries to give the player skilled in CPMA movement the upper hand. It can be played in both duel and FFA modes, and it isn't very big.   9. If you don't have a forwarded port which is what (it seems like) you need to host a public game you can use Hamachi to create a network and play with friends. For them to connect however you need to use the console command "connect XXX" and you can get the IP from them in Hamachi. https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/download.aspx you can download Hamachi here and you dont need the managed version.
