Welcome to the Reflex Garbage Cup! Reflex's very own beginner's tournament. This week we learned that, if we stick together, good things will always follow! Week 6 Loser's Bracket Lowest Ranked 4 3 will play Bo3, winners from those will play Bo5 Gains title "Treasurer of Trash" Winner's Bracket Top Ranked 4 will play Bo3, winners from those will play Bo5 Gains title "Compost Commander" Week 7 FFA = Final Redemption 3 rounds of FFA! All players receive 1 point per kill. This affects final rank. (Not really, since the bracket is already finished. But it'll be fun, I think!) Overall winner receives title "Lord of the Landfill" Stalast has suggested getting rid of the final, where the winner from the Winner's and Loser's brackets go head to head to claim final victory. While I do think there is value in this system, Stalast's comments have made me realize that, for this particular tourney, it may just be better to run the final segment of the tournament like this: I would like to leave the Final (giving Loser's bracket a chance to reclaim victory) in future Garbage Cups, especially those that have more competitors and thus wider brackets. But as long as no one has any major objections, we will be following the second model. Doing it this way will afford us a little extra time, and spare those of us in the bottom 3 a hefty plate of public embarrassment. Please post any suggestions or comments to this thread. Smalish ctf map that should be ok for tdm and ffa to. Current state is just after seeing the first gameplay on it and made some changes. Looking for feedback on gameplay. Things like flow and pickup locations is the important bits now. Disregard blatant ugliness for now. There is a lot of work left to do. I hope the main routes/chokes/angles are ok and enough. ReflexFiles download 16/11-15 Updated. Fixes tweaks and better clipping on cliffsides. Moved carnage to netcage.
