Ingame suggestion - VOIP

VOIP is overrated, bound quick replies are better.

Chivalry's one are excellent, but written ones like Quakeworld or Rocket League would be better.

You can already do this...

VoIP would be great but there's already other software for that (as annoying as that is).

Regarding binds, chat "tokens" would go a long way. For instance, beyond just binds saying "EFC high" or "EFC low", things like being able to hover your crosshairs over an item and being able to press a single bind that says, "#nearbyfriendly, there's a #item available. Please take!"

Other cool stuff might be for map editors to be able to designate and name map zones. For instance, on a TDM map, you can name an area "RA room" and use a bind like, "Enemies in #room. Please help!"

Maybe someone has already worked that in Lua, though?

The binds are infuriating I think. I've tried to find a way to turn off chat during duels because it pisses me off when people spam some dumbass bind 4 times consecutively.

Ingame VOIP would really help tournament organizers, help spectators discuss whats going on in the game to improve, would help "vets" show new people around the game, would let friends bash each other while dueling if they so desire, and in general is simply FUN.

Definitely. When events get going for FFA and CTF it's always such a bummer that there's no VoIP, and half the people that show up say they don't feel like bothering to open discord.
