Q3 .map -> Reflex .map converter

/edit Tried, and works like a charm! 1.4 - 1.5 seems to be about the right upward adjustment for Quake 2 maps!

A friend and I bought this game just for the level editor abilities since we've been wanting to collaborate on mapping for a long time. Our plan was to make the majority of the brush work in Reflex and export it to be used in Hammer editor or other tools.

Using the ReflexToQ3 converter, it exports an 1KB file containing only:
{
"classname" "worldspawn"
}

Any idea when an update to this would be available? Thanks.

You need to manually convert the map from reflex map version 8 to 6 as the converter has not been updated since then.

Hi, sorry I don't speak french but I can try to help. You'll want to first get the .map for ra3map12. If you only have the .pk3, you can do this by unzipping the .pk3 and getting the .bsp. Then use NetRadiant to convert the .bsp to .map. Once you have the .map for ra3map12, you should be able to follow the steps on page 1 of this forum thread.

If the above doesn't help, contact me on Discord and I can try to convert ra3map12 to Reflex for you. You'll still need to do a lot of work to make the converted version ready to play in Reflex, though.
